SMEs play a pivotal role in the economic growth of Singapore, which was the key point of interest at the recent “Navigating AI and Sustainability in the Future of Business” event held at LLI together with SIRS, aimed at enabling a conference among SME Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Innovators and Creators.
Spotlighting the key drivers of Emerging Tech and Sustainable practices, and their contribution to Singapore's development goals, a panel of industry and academic veterans came together to discourse on how SMEs can propel themselves forward to thrive in the Future Economy. The ensuing insights on developing and driving business strategies that leverage on AI and Emerging Tech, and the benefits of adopting and applying Sustainability Principles, provided a wealth of insights that was an immense source of inspiration to the attending industry personnel.
The panel included Mr Andrew Seit - CEO, Chuen Jia Fu Abalone, Ms Jocelyn Chng - MD, JR Group, Dr Phua Chee Teck -NYP, Deputy Principal (Sustainability & Technology), Ms Stephanie Sitt - Co-founder and Group CEO, Pixlr, who with their well-honed experience drove home a significant and high-impact message on how SMEs can, and should, take the steps towards a future where businesses can thrive through AI-driven strategies and technologies intertwined with Sustainability principles, that in turn will contribute to the drive for economic growth, job creation and positive change for enterprises and the workforce.
Event attendees also had valuable opportunities to participate in the dialogues and peer networking sessions that featured keen exchanges of ideas and sharing insights on the challenges of navigating the ever-evolving Retail landscape, and opportunities in the integration of AI and technology into daily business operations in their bid to drive efficiency and profitability.
