Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) is hosting a 15-member delegation from one of our long-term China partners, SIPIVT (Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Vocational Technology) in Singapore, these 2 weeks.
As part of the 2-week programme focusing on Modern Technical Education and Student Development, SIRS is pleased to welcome the delegation, sharing with them our role on what and how we do in helping to drive the advancement of both businesses and workers in the Retail and adjacent-Service sectors.

This has provided the delegation team with a holistic insight to the core education structure and proposition of our various NYP Schools, together with SIRS as a leading CET (Continuing Education and Training) institute in Singapore, that synergistically drive and support the Singapore Government’s initiatives of developing our businesses and talents towards a thriving #futureofwork and #futureofbusiness.

The visit also facilitated insights into the value of fostering strategic industry partnerships, and the potential implications and impacts of evolving business landscapes globally and locally. These, in turn, raised discussions centering around how early and continuing education can effectively advance the cultivation of adaptability and resilience that enable both workers and businesses to thrive in the dynamic circumstances of our ever-evolving world.
With the visionary foresight of SIPIVT that promotes a culture of “internationalisation” of its teachers, we look forward to our continued joint efforts in education and training programmes that extend significant value to both our respective current workforces and future talents.
