What are you doing with AI today?
…What can AI do for you tomorrow?
Over a hundred professionals and businesses joined us on 06 December 2024, under the auspices of NYP-SIRS and our partner Pixlr, to celebrate our MOU partnership signing ceremony helmed by Ms Esther Ho, Deputy Principal, Lifelong Learning & Enterprise Services, NYP together with Ms Stephanie Sitt, Chairperson & Co-Founder of Pixlr Group.
For anyone who uses image library content, 123RF is a familiar name, having been around for over 20 years and ranks alongside other well-known image libraries. Ms. Sitt, the co-founder of 123RF, is now expanding into the SaaS market under the Pixlr Group with the launch of Designs.ai, one of the most comprehensive content creation platforms available in the market today.
The MOU signifies a shared vision of bringing ease of access to a suite of “Smarter, Faster, Easier” Generative AI tools for Content Creation to SMEs, Marketing professionals, Content creators, and freelancers in various professions.

Attendees also had the opportunity of hearing from both SSG and our panel of experts.
Mr Chua Ren Cheng, Principal Manager, Enterprise Engagement Division of SSG, provided us with a motivating insight into how upskilling is critical for businesses to build from strength to strength and thrive in the competitive and challenging economic environment.
Our panel of experts, that encompassed an impressive range of experience from Retail and International Commerce to Emerging Technology and Intellectual Property (IP) Law, included
- Dr. Lillian Koh, Founder and CEO of Fintech Academy
- Mr. Kenny Tay, CEO of The Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce (SGDCC)
- Mr. Shawn Lee, COO of Crestar Enterprise
- Ms. Ashley Chew, Associate Director, Collyer Law LLC
- Mr. Bryan Loo, CEO of Loob Holdings

Sharing their insights on the various perspectives of AI, whilst highlighting and addressing legal & ethical concerns, the panel delved into the vast potential of how AI might shape the future of people, work and businesses.
In essence, understanding both the opportunities and challenges of an AI-driven world and keeping pace through upskilling are what will enable and empower people and businesses to thrive successfully. But we do need to take those necessary steps to consciously commit ourselves to continual learning – and AI can be that which makes the ordinary extraordinary for us.
