20 enthusiastic participants joined our Sustainability and Mobile Photography class, where we learned how we can easily upcycle pre-loved fabrics into amazing fashion items!
And have you spotted the guy with the cap? That’s our Mobile Photography trainer who taught us how to take great photos of our little upcycled bags with just our mobile phones and made them totally instagrammable.
Do you want to try? All it takes is some fabric (and we know everyone has tons of pre-loved, forgotten clothes stuffed into cupboards), and your mobile phone! Our trainers will teach you how to select the right fabrics, and the use of various techniques on the BROTHER sewing machine, and voila! Easy as pie, we made these little bags.
By the way, did you know that the Japanese BROTHER sewing machines have some absolutely amazing features, apart from basic stitching, including letter embroidering, built-in stitch patterns and more!

From product creation to customer identification, product packaging and marketing appeal to eCommerce tips and techniques, our students were given a headstart learning about the various eCommerce and Social Commerce platforms that may be best suited for selling their handmade crafts and creations, if they wish to embark on their eCommerce.
